Margaret is the owner and head trainer at K9 Summit Academy, where she brings her lifelong passion for animals to life. Growing up, Margaret was an avid horse rider and animal lover. After college, she moved to New York City and started working as a dog walker while searching for a "real job." It quickly became clear that working with dogs was her true calling.
Margaret trained under some of the top dog trainers in New York City, gaining invaluable experience and knowledge. She also worked for a dog rescue in Brooklyn, where she fostered and trained over 50 dogs, helping them transition into their forever homes.
In 2018, Margaret moved to Colorado, where she continues to help dogs and their owners build strong, lasting relationships. She believes that every dog and owner are unique, so she tailors her training methods to fit each client's specific needs. Whether you're starting with a new puppy or working through unwanted behaviors with a rescue dog, Margaret is here to help.
